Raymond Cardwell

It was some 25 years ago when I first tried to sing in public at the Oldfield Opry. While they are some of the most talented musicians and vocalist around… I’m still trying! My only instrument is my voice and it is still a work in progress. Their November pre-show always lands on, or around, Veteran’s Day and the Marine Corps’ birthday. So, as an old retired Marine and Vietnam veteran, it’s an honor and privilege to help recognize our country’s veterans. Those who have faithfully served… and more importantly, those who were killed in action and those still missing. Forget me… remember them!
